The extended timescale, unexpected plot twists and variety of characters makes this one fun. it's also fun having a book start with a marriage. I guess the only downside was the looming problem in Julia's past made it hard to read slowly, I wanted to know how things turned out at the end! The upside is now i can read it again more slowly and enjoy it a second time. I wish it had been longer though, there were lots of interesting things that could be expanded. Maybe she will come back to these characters sometime...
